This Privacy Policy explains how K-Pop Idol Quiz (com.kpop.kpopidolquiz) ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android.

We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any directly identifying personal information.
The App collects the following information automatically:
Usage and Analytics Data
- Screens visited, levels played, puzzles completed or skipped
- In-app events (e.g. hint used, daily reward claimed, shop opened)
- Session duration and frequency of use
This data is collected via Firebase Analytics and is used solely to understand how players engage with the App so we can improve it.
Crash and Performance Data
- Crash reports including device model, OS version, and stack traces
- App performance metrics (startup time, network latency)
This data is collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring.
Advertising Data
- Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- IP address and approximate location (country/region)
- Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks)
This data is used by Google AdMob to serve ads. On iOS, we request your permission before accessing the IDFA via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you decline, non-personalized ads are shown instead.
Device Information
- Device model, OS version, and language settings
- A randomly generated app instance ID (not linked to your identity)
Local Storage
Your game progress, level completion, coin balance, and settings are stored locally on your device using shared preferences. This data never leaves your device.

4. Advertising and Your Choices
The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob. On iOS 14+, you will be asked for permission to track your activity across apps and websites. You can change this choice at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → K-Pop Idol Quiz
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID
You can also opt out of personalized ads through your device settings without affecting your ability to use the App.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Data Retention
- Analytics and crash data is retained by Google Firebase according to their data retention policies (up to 14 months by default).
- Local game data remains on your device until you uninstall the App.
- Leaderboard data is retained by Apple Game Center / Google Play Games according to their policies.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
